Subscriptions and refunds
Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. New subscribers can start Pro or Captain with a 7 day free trial; cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and nothing is charged. Purchases and refunds are handled by the store, not us.
Your account and data
Delete your account any time in the app under Settings, or from the account deletion page. That removes your account, fleet and usage records from our servers. Data requests: see the Privacy Policy.

Removing a vessel from Shipdeck
Shipdeck shows AIS broadcasts. AIS is a public safety transmission: every fitted vessel broadcasts her identity and position in the clear under the SOLAS convention, and anyone within range of a receiver can hear it. Even so, for a small private boat a track can say something about the people aboard her. If you would rather she were not shown, ask us and we will remove her.
Email hello@themaritimemaster.com with the subject "Vessel removal request", and tell us:
- the vessel's name and MMSI, and her IMO number if she has one;
- that you are her owner, operator or master;
- something that shows it, such as a registration document or a page of the ship's papers.
We ask for proof only so that a request to hide a vessel comes from someone entitled to make it, and we delete that proof once the request is settled. We aim to reply within five working days and to act within one month.
Removing a vessel hides her from Shipdeck's map, search and Fathom. It cannot stop her transponder transmitting, and it has no effect on any other service receiving the same broadcast. You can ask us to put her back at any time.
A note on the data
Ship positions come from licensed maritime AIS sources and can be delayed or incomplete, especially far offshore. Tide predictions are computed on your device and are estimates. Shipdeck is for information and entertainment, never navigation.
